I am not afraid to talk about mental health challenges, because everyone goes through them. The sooner we break the stigma, and accept support when we need it, the better we can be of service to others.

When I first thought about finding a counsellor for some personal issues a few years back, some people told me, “Oh, aren’t you embarrassed to admit that?”

Of course not! Why should anyone be embarrassed to seek help?

No one can get through life alone, and no one should ever HAVE to. We are stronger when we admit that we have so much room to grow.

Over the years, I’ve had my own challenges and pressures— and sometimes I was afraid of my own thoughts and feelings. Thankfully, acknowledging my pains allowed me to confront them.

The bravest among us are those who persevere in spite of their own feelings of fear, failure, and inadequacy. The people who conquer their pains are those who are able to be stronger for others.

Seek help when you need it. There will always be people who believe in you 🙂
